Have received this message a number of times now - can't figure out what triggers it. the dell PC Checkup program is not running when it appears (at least no UI).
Microsoft has no solutions to propose...

Don't expect too much help from dell !! I also have a new xps and get that same message, Dell told me it was a software problem so they couldn't help me???

This issue has been corrected in a later version than what you have installed. Please download and run the updater located at content.dellsupportcenter.com/.../aulauncher.exe

I own a brand new DELL Inspiron 14Z with two graphics cards, Intel and AMD.
After installing Windows 8.1 have some problems with the graphics cards until I installed new drivers from Dell.
Since then "My Dell" never worked again. In time to time I see a pop up saying "My Dell stops working".
Unistalled My Dell and reinstalled it several times but nothing happens (aulalauncher.exe).

If you have the time and are willing to do so, could I get you to collect the log files and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org attn James, so that we can take a look at to what could be going on?
There are three locations that I would need you to look for the logs. to get to these location press the Windows icon key and the R button on your keyboard to open the run command.
Location 1. Type in the following %programdata%\pcdr. Open the directory of the last installed build number, doing a sort by date will help with this and then zip up the entire logs directory.
Location 2 & 3. Type in the following %appdata%\pcdr. In both directories (Installer and Update) there are logs folders, please zip the both of the logs folder
Attach all three logs directories to the email. Once we have received the information we will submit a support ticket and provide you with a follow-up email.
I received the files that you sent and passed them on to our tech support team. You should be receiving the follow-up email from them. I responded to your email with this same info, but wanted to post here just in case you saw this first.
While we have not completely root caused this issue, with Yoyega's assistance we have been able to come up with a work-around that has allowed My Dell to function without the reported crash.
* Launch the Catalyst Control Center (or right click on the desktop to open the settings for Switchable Graphics)
* Select Switchable Graphics Global Settings
* Choose any settings other than Maximize Performance
If unable to change the global settings, some applications allow for the change to be made per application, so make the change for pcdrcui.exe.
We will continue to look into the actual issue causing the crash and provide an update in a future release.
Around the date of this post I started receiving the "pcdoctor module has stopped working" popup.
I read through the solutions on this forum. I rolled back the nvidia driver to the one before jan 7th windows update because it was after that time that the error started. That worked for a day or two.
I can also get the error message by trying to run PCCheckup and MyDell and Dell Support Centre. (all of which are in my start menu though I don't know why as they all link to the file pcdlauner (according to "properties")

When I run MyDell (which skips the blue "my dell" flash box before the my dell screen loads) I get no message.
When I run PC Checkup the blue flash box comes up again before the PC checkup home page - which is completely different from the MyDell & Dell support Centre home pages which are the same except for the blue "MyDell" box that flashes first. The error message is the same as above.
All three have the same version number 3.4.6422.14 in "about", in the settings. All 3 (or is it one?) have the scheduler turned off - yet something is still running every time the computer wakes up, or is turned on.
There seems to be no one solution to this issue and subsequent updates seem to fix the problem for some and create it for others.
I have a Dell XPS14Z, (product XPSL412Z) bought end of 2011,, with Windows Home Premium 7 SP1. January 2014 is the first time I've had this error.
