CyberLink PowerCinema Resident Program has stopped working

  • I am running Vista Home Premium on a brand new Inspiron E1505.  After about 30 minutes of booting the laptop, I usually get this error message:  "CyberLink PowerCinema Resident Program has stopped working." I understand that this is a program that helps to automatically start DVD's when inserted in the drive and is not an essential program, but is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix?
    Download the Sonic updates

    Dimension 8400 Windows 7/8

  • I have this same problem.  What sonic updates specifically?
I dont have recordnow so my first choice is no good.
In the second download it says that 0 files were copied when i try and
the third sends me to a support page.
    How do I fix this???
  • I have also looked for updates but failed to find anything.
  • I found a solution to my problem. I deleted it from my startup file.  Simple. Everything still works.
