I have a Dell Poweredge 2650, which supports upto 12 gigs of ram, but is a 32-bit system. I have mine running Server 2003 Enterprise with 5 gigs ram, however, being a 32-bit OS on 32-bit processors, it can't address more than 3.74 gigs of ram, even with PAE enabled.
I'm wondering now, if it supports a max of 12 gigs of ram, how in the heck do you address it all, if I can't even address 5 gigs?
Many Dell systems, most used are the Inspiron 531, Precision M60 and Inspiron 8500.
For PE 2650, it has total 6 memory slots on the motherboard. So for your case 12gigs of ram which I assume you have 6x 2gb memory modules in the server.
PE 2650 manual:-

In terms of memory limitation, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition x32bit can actually support up to 64gb, please refer to the link:-
