DSM SA Connection Service - Service Won't Start

  • PE1750 running Win2k3 SP1
    PowerVault 210S
    OMSA v.5.2.0 node
     
    Installation appeared to be fine. The DSM SA service won't start. There is an IIS web service running on port 80. The IWS.ini is defaulted to port 1311.
     
    I haven't tried OMCLEAN - I'd rather not since this is a production server and I've read that OMCLEAN requires a reboot.
     
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • Thanks for posting!  Try going to the iws.ini file and changing the port from 1311 to 10010 or something.  Usually the service won't start if there is a port conflict.  You can track that down with the command netstat -ao.
