I downloaded Reader for ppc and it went to My Docs instead of programs and I get the message, not a valid PPC application. What am I doing wrong.
I have the Axim X51v with Mobile 5.0 help please.
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
I read that it does not work with Mobile 5.
Here are some instructions that I have found to get it to work. Maybe worth trying.
-Install Adobe Reader 2.0 on your PPC -Install Total Commander avaiable here: http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm Only with total commander you can change the registry - start the Total Commander and go to "\" which will lead you to the registry - in "HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdobeAdobe Reader4.0AdobeViewer" you have to change the entry: EULA from "0" to "1"

Welcome to the forums Greg
Is 'Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0' the one you've tried, because... according to the Axim Users forums... it should work on your Axim X51v with Mobile 5.0?
If it is the version you've tried, there's an open source (/free) program you can try - namely Pocket XPDF?
From experience, I've found that: “Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder”!!
