    I have just loaded the GPS system on to my Axim X50v. Used the sat nav once. Am now unable to open the application. I have gone into the memory programme and it shows that the system it still working. I am unable to stop it.
    Consequentlyt I can no longer use the Sat Nav system.
     
    Please could someone help. I am not very computer litterate and this is becomming very frustrating.

    Try a soft boot by sticking the stylis in the hole in the back. This should reset and clear out everythig. I just installed mine yesterday and it did the same thing, I've got  lot to read to figure out how to do things with this program, I used to have a Garmin GPS and it's set up a lot different.

    I did that and it worked.
    Then had a another problem. The icon in programmes dissappeared, so had to reload CD
     
    Hopefully OK now

    I don't know if the X50 works like the X51 I just received, but I have had some problems and I found out from the forums to update the firmware to the current one one the Support page for the Axim drivers and downloads. My Axim came with the original firmware, you might want to check if you have the most up to date also. It also says sofware will have to be reloaded after updating.
