Question about the policy of replacing a defected monitor within the first 30 days after the purchase. Is it replaced with a new one in cases when not purchased directly from Dell, but at a reseller ? They are trying to replace it for me with a refurbished one within the 30 days period from when was bought from a reseller.
This is in Europe, does the same policy apply in Europe ?
Unfortunately, this is the negative of not buying it directly from Dell. Because you bought from a reseller, we will use the standard 3 year warranty as shown by the service tag number or the 20 digit PPID serial number code start date, not from when you purchased it from the reseller. All replacements will be refurbished.
