Dell 1905 FP Monitor keeps going into power save mode.

  • Hello everyone I have a Dell 19" monitor that seems to go into power save mode in the middle of me being on the computer. I press the menu button on the monitor and it tells me "Analog Input in power save mode, press any key on keyboard/or move mouse", but when I hit a key or move the mouse nothing happens. The computer is fine the settings on the monitor is set on never turn off. I don't know what else to do, any help would be appreciated.

    * Right click anywhere on the desktop
    * Click Properties
    * Click the Screen Saver tab
    * Choose one and set it for one minute (or whatever you want)
    * Click Apply
    * Click the settings or Power button to the right of the globe
    * You should be on the Power Schemes tab
    * Under the heading Power Schemes choose Home/Office Desk
    * Under Settings for Home/Office Desk
    - set the monitor to never
    - set the hard disks to never
    * Click Apply
    * Click the Advanced tab (if listed)
    remove any checks
    * Click Apply if you made any changes
    * Click the Hibernate tab
    remove any checks
    * Click Apply if you made any changes
    * Click OK
    * Click OK
    * Click Start- Turn Off Computer- Restart
