004-332 Restart Printer on 3100cn

This question is not answered

Before replacing the drum on this 3100cn, I blew out the stray toner with compressed air.  When the printer is turned on, its display says "Diagnosing", then "Please Wait", then "004-332 Restart Printer", then "Contact Support IfMessageReturns".  The  printer will give the same messages each time I cycle power.  I have read many posts related to this subject.  I do not see any broken or bent parts inside the printer.  I have removed and reseated each toner and the drum.  I continue to receive the previously mentioned messages.  Any help would be appreciated.

Try following the instructions here. To save you some time, when you get to the list of error messages yours is 5th from the bottom of the list.

  • Thanks for the link.  I tried all the suggestions but nothing resolved the problem.  I continue to get 004-332 Restart Printer.  The last option pointed to contacting tech support.  It is out of warranty so I will probably recycle it.
