The Dell Printer Home interface is not working. On launch, no buttons respond to clicking, except "Advanced Scan" (which is what I want) which brings me to a blank window. This is a problem with the dashboard, and not with the actual scanner itself. I updated the drives, java, Windows 7, turned off virus protection, etc. I uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, unplugged the scanner and turned it back on. Last time I tried to scan something through Dell Printer Home was in the summer and it worked without a problem. From Word I can print documents, so it is possible to communicate with the device. Anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?

I reinstalled it from the disk. I then got the updated drivers from the Dell website.
