How to take the MFP1125 paper tray out for shipping?
Was told squeeze certain taps to release the lock/catches and pull it our, yet where are they located ?
At the point where the tray connects to the printer chassis, there is a notched alignment pin on each side of the tray. These notched pins and the tension against the inner sides of the chassis are what holds the tray in place.
To remove the paper tray:1. Remove the tray's top cover and set aside.2. Remove all paper from teh tray.3. Holding both sides of the tray as close to the printer as possible, twist the top edges of the tray (that's right, bend the plastic) inward while gradually pulling the tray outward.
