This works with Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. This does NOT work with Windows XP or earlier operating systems.
Copy the text between the lines and paste it to notepad.
netsh wlan show interface >c:\interface.txt c:\interface.txt
Save as interface.cmd
Right click on the interface.cmd, left click run as administrator and it will produce the network interface log.
This log can then be copied and pasted, when needed.
If you cannot get this to save correctly, you can...
Start, all programs, accessories, right click on command prompt, left click run as administrator.
Hit the Windows key and the X Keys at the same time. Command Prompt (Admin)
netsh wlan show interface
Hit enter. This will bring the information up.
Right click on the top near command prompt.
Left click on edit, select all.
Right click near command prompt, click on edit, click on copy.
Then paste the log to the thread it was requested in.
