Earlier this week when starting my Inspiron 3721 running Windows 10 Prof it could not connect to my wireless router: Running the diagnostics the following message was obtained:
How do I solve this problem?
I have other Windows 10 machines on the network as well as a printer and an internet radio and they all work fine

Does the WiFi device appear in the Device Manager under network adapters?

When I run devmgmt.msc you see the networkcard containing: Broadcom 802,11nNetwork Adapter, PPoP WAN adapter, Realtek PCle FE Family Controller, a number of WAN Miniports. I can supply the result of the Windows' network diagnostics if you want.
* Press Windows Key + R* Type devmgmt.msc* Click OK* Open Network adapters* Right click each one at a time* Click Uninstall for each one* When done, close the Device Manager and restart the computer* On return to Windows, all of the drivers will be automatically reinstalled* When done, restart the computer and then retest WiFi
It will not restart the network automatically. When you try to do it manually you are back to where you started; the networkcard sees the network but cannot connect to it
I doubt that the hardware has failed. Perhaps it is time to do an operating system reinstall. Have you backed up your data to USB key or USB hard disk drive? Did you make the operating system backup DVDs?
Please check whether is it possible to connect another laptop with this network and check is it possible to connect this laptop with another wifi network.
