I recently discovered the SIM card slot under the battery in my Latitude D630.
I placed the SIM card in the slot but nothing happened.
The broadcom utility indicates that there is no device detected.
How do I activate this device?
Does it need a specific driver?
You should try download "Dell Wireless Mobile Broadband MiniCard Driver"
R159896 from Dell driver site, install it - and I suppose you will be as satisfied as me. Really nice not having to bring a PCMCIA card or another technical ad-on thing to the computer.
Thank you for the reply, but I still have the same problem.
The broadband utility driver still indicates "No Device".
What about the configuration? is there any step i am missing?
Appreciate the help.
i don't use sim card
