Hi!

After having replaced the hard drive of my Dimension 8400 and re-installed Windows XP Professional (Serv. Pack 2) I cannot get my USB Analog Netopia 3342 Modem working. Even after having re-installed the respective Netopia driver as well as the Dell Chip Set several times with and without assistance of my internet provider, the driver is always market with a yellow point containing an exclamation mark in it. The tech people from the internet provider told me that this can't be an issue with the Modem or the respective driver itself but rather a Software installation bug of the Dimension.

I am completely lost with it and as you most probably can imagine from the way I am describing the problem, I am not that familiar with drivers etc.
