Bluetooth Inspiron 9300 TrueMobile TM 350 HiFi Audio A2DP and OMIZ headphones

  • Hi guys,
I have an Inspiron 9300 with a TrueMobile 350 Bluetooth Card.
I have just added an OMIZ "Bluetooth Stereo MP3 Headphone" and it works fine in HiFi mode but goes to sleep after 10 minutes.
Can any one confirm that this is the Headphone or the TM 350 (Toshiba v3.03.02(D)) driver that causes this?
Does any one have a solution?
  • This is pretty bad when you have to reply to yourself.

Following intensive testing it now looks like the problem is with the Toshiba drivers for the TM350 A00. Can anyone from Dell HELP?

For everyone else I uninstalled the TM300 drivers from my Inspiron 9100 and installed the TM350 A00 Toshiba drivers, and they work just fine with the TM300 (but not the audio part A2DP), and look much better.

  • Should stop talking to my self.

I should have said the HiFi streaming A2DP works on the TM300 with the Toshiba TM350 drivers, except for the turn off after 10 minutes bug.

  • Sorry, but I have no answer for you. I just wanted to find out what you did with the TM 350 dirvers?
I've an inspiron 8600, and I'm using the truemobile 300 bluetooth drivers and I don't (seem) to get any A2DP access. I'm wanting to use the BlueAnt stereo headphones, and I need an updated driver that will work with them.
    Can anyone offer advice?
  • I had the A05 version of the TM300 drivers installed on the I9100, R77162.
I installed the A00 version of the TM350 drivers on the I9100, R92909.
And the A2DP worked. I removed the TM300 drivers later but it still worked.
    Good Luck.
  • Hi gsamways,
I'm just trying to summarize and understand what you wrote... I think you have answered my questions. I have an Inspiron 9100 with TM300 hardware (no A2DP profile), hence no HiFi with my Bluetake iPhone headphones. (They work fine in headset mode)

Do you have both an Inspiron 9300 with TM 350 hardware AND and Inspiron 9100 with TM 300? You mean I can install TM350 drivers on my Inspiron 9100 with TM300 hardware and get the A2DP profile?

    Cheers
    Scott
  • Yes.
I did but the A2DP kept disconnecting out after 10 minutes.
I have since sold the headset.
    There is now a R112482 TM350 A13 driver.
