I have Prolbem with installing the the Wifi-/LAN-Driver for my Dell Latitude D620.
I tried to install both drivers which are available on the dell-website.
When I try to install the first one mentioned, I got the following failure message: BASS_REL_5_6 456.
I am able to install the second one. But the WIFI-/LAN-Hardware is still uninstalled after doing that (see attached file). So I still can't connect this notebook with the internet.
Do you have a solution for the problem? Can you tell me which is the right Wifi-/LAN-Driver for the Dell Latitude D620 or can you provide me with the right software?

my OS is Windows XP Prof. I tried to install the driver under the link above, but it is not working cause it is for Windows 7.
Afterwards I tried to create a Service Tag, but failed. Recived a failure message told me that the dellsystemdetect.application couldn't be installed because it needs WindowsBase Version 220.127.116.11. By the way I didn't receive a friendsip request from you.
Then I checked Device Manager as you proposed it. See the screenshot below.
I do still having problems getting access to the internet via wifi and also via LAN.
Do you have any suggestion how to solve the problem.

The driver installation link I provided to you was compatible with Windows XP and Vista operating systems. However, as I am not sure about the wireless card in your system it may not be the right one.
I have also sent you a friend request, to accept the request please go to your profile page and click on the 'Friends' tab. You should be able to see my message. On that same page you can click on 'start a conversation' and send me the service tag for your system on a private message. You will be able to find the service tag on a white bar coded sticker on the bottom of the laptop. Once I get the service tag I can check the system configuration and help you out with the right driver.
Unfortunately, I do not see the screenshot of device manager. You can click on 'Use rich formatting' and click on the insert picture tab on the top bar to insert the picture of the device manager.

I checked the picture of the device manager, the wireless driver is already installed. You will need to install the ethernet driver for the LAN connection, modem drivers and the driver from the card reader.
Every system has an unique service tag from the time it is manufactured. There is no way to generate one. You can look for the service tag either at the bottom of the laptop on a white bar coded sticker. It is alphanumeric and consists of 7 digits. If the sticker is missing or faded you can also check the service tag by going into the system BIOS.
To enter the BIOS, restart the system and tap on the F2 key on the Dell logo. On the system setup screen you will be able to find the service tag.

The drivers provided to you by Dell_Abhishek_B are correct. Please install the drivers provided through the private message and let me know the results. As far as the wireless driver is concerned, 'Device Manager' does not show any issue with the same. Are you facing any wireless issue on your system? yes network adapter is install but it is very slow other laptop wifi work here and my computer not working here.plz solve my problem
