Try to use 0 brightness with auto enabled. Use 3G connection only when required. Switch off location finder. Try closing applications running but not required. I manage approximately 2 days. Use Wifi for data transfer as far as possible instead of 3G. Goodluck.

I had the same problem. I stopped using Skype and killed com.oem.lota service after reboot. I don't know what is it, but I suppose it is update OTA service, so having this service killed you won't receive update to 2.2 when it will be available. It really consumes most of power though it is not...
