Hi All,
I have a streak 7 ver 3.2 and want to back it up to a PC. I connect the 2 using the USB cable and the PC indicates streak 7 found. After about 30 seconds I get a message that there is a problem and its disconnected. It will not show as a REMOVABLE DISK.
Do I need a streak 7 driver and if so where and how do I install it. The pop up asks for a CD which I don't have.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of Windows are you using?
WIN XP HOME
Honeycomb 3.2 only support MTP and does not support usb mass storage drive, that's why XP does not recognize your ds7. You only have 2 choices:
1. Upgrade to Win 7 which support MTP, Win XP does not.
2. Use an app that allows wifi connection to your pc.
Do you know of an app that will perform this function? I serched but could not find one..

I haven't try it yet but a free app called File Expert has this function. Give it a try and post back here your finding.
This is too stupid now.
The whole world does not have Windows 7 or wants to pay EXTRA FOR EXTRA devices just to have a properly ruuning device.
My manual sayS it should work with window XP. Can any explain this ???????

There is no support from the manufacturer which is a violation of AUSTRALIAN PURCHASING LAWS. (Dell expect to hear from ACCC and Fair Trading and who ever else I will be passing on this SCAM too)
