Cannot Connect Streak 7 to Computer

I recently purchased the Streak 7 from Dell.  I have been attempting to connect the device to my home computer.  I will show up as a drive, and I did find the drivers zip file and installed it on the computer.  I have received the Honeycomb update as well.  I also downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the Dell site. I noticed all of the connection software avaialble from Dell is for older versions of Android and I don't know if it will cause complications on the device or computer.

  • After the honeycomb update, the ds7 no longer support connection to the computer as usb, but as a mtp. Look in your devices and printer menu.
