• Replace the corrupted/missing files.
  • Reseat the hardware.
  • Run the 32-bit diagnostics.
  • Usually problem with the Samsung CD Drive in New Systems.
  • Extract a new copy of the User32.dll.


How to extract a new copy of the User32.dll file


1) Insert your windows XP CD into your CD/DVD drive.

2) Restart your computer.

3) Press the F12 key to access the one time boot menu.

4) Select Onboard or USB CD-ROM Drive.

    Press any key when prompted.

5) The Windows XP Setup will launch.

6) Press R to choose the Repair option and enter recovery console on the Welcome to Setup Page.

7) cd windows\system32

8) ren user32.dll user32.old

9) extract e:\i386\user32.dl_ c:\windows\system32\user32.dll
