Updated driver for ATI Radeon 9000 on D600

This question is not answered

I have a Dell Latitude D600 with an ATI Radeon 9000 video driver.  I updated to version 8.20.051110 (R113575.exe).  I would like to watch videos on DVD but still get the message "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."  Is there anything I can do to be able to watch DVD movies on my notebook computer?

  • Hi geverest,

    Welcome to the Community,

Have you tried a different media player ? Do you get the same error while trying to play DVD from a different media player? Is this an error which you get while trying to play a particular DVD or does this error come with all the different DVDs you've tried ?

Try downloading and installing VLC Media Player from the link below and see if it works:

    Hope this helps,

    Thank You
