I'm running windows 7 64bit. Preinstalled on the computer is Dell webcam Central from creative version 2.00.44. The application wants me to update to version 2.00.46. I've tried this but the download is incredibly slowwwwwww after almost an hour it had only downloaded 15mb out of 151mb (worse than dial-up). I can't seem to find this update anywhere else . Dell only seems to allow me to reinstall the same version i have.
I believe you are correct, 2.00.46 was the latest version I can remember. I recently had to reinstall the operating system, so I currently have 2.00.33 installed.
I don't think there is a big difference with the versions. As long as your webcam is working properly, I don't think I'd worry about the newer version. I don't see any difference between 2.00.33 and 2.00.46
What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
