The old card is 8gb DDR3L....couldn't find much on the particulars online but managed to find this on an ebay post:

I was told by support that i would need this one <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> but he wouldn't give ma a firm yes or no on my question which kinda makes me think he was trying to get me to buy more from dell....maybe not though
If it's usable with my Inspiron 7559 it'd save me from having to spend extra money so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

From reading the memory specs you provided and comparing to the 7559 memory specs it looks like it should work.
