I am using Dell Inspirn 1420 everytime i am starting my laptop one pop up window opening stating that - Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller stopped working and was closed? what is the problem? how to solve this problem?
Welcome to the Community.
It could be an issue with the wireless card driver.I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the wireless card driver.
First download and save the wireless card driver on your desktop from the link below:( Use the link according to your Windows operating system)
For Windows Vista:
For Windows XP:
Second Uninstall the wireless card driver. To uninstall the Wireless card driver,go to Control Panel,Click on Device Manager,Click on the triangle next to network adapters,Right click on Dell wireless card,Click Uninstall,on the Confirm driver uninstall screen, put a check mark in the box before Delete this driver software, click OK.
Reboot your system and install the driver which you had downloaded before.
Note:Wireless connection will get disconnect in the process of uninstalling the driver. After reinstalling the driver you will have to reconnect the system to your wireless network.
Let me know if this helps,

i did that what u given its working fine now. thanks
I'm having this problem as well. But as I can't get on the web on the laptop, I want to download the driver files to my desktop.
However, before I do, I want to be sure I'll have the option of downloading to my thumbdrive and not directly to my desktop's directories, which it seems it wants to do.
