I just purchased an XPS 17 and was wondering if anyone had a preference in cooling pads? I've read about the ones on Cooler Master's website, and they look pretty efficient.
Thing is, i have the 9-cell battery which acts as a stand. Does anyone else have this model, and can offer their preference?
I've been using a Targus Chillmat for my current machine, but it doesn't keep it very cool. I would prefer to use something more effective for my XPS.
Thanks in advance!

i have the same computer as you do only mine has 16 gb of ram. i have been using a dual fan targus pad with decent results. i am currently building a custom cooling system/carry case out of an home computer tower. i plan on putting in three home computer fans one into each of the vents on the bottom. and powering with the towers power supply. best of luck.
Thanks for the reply justingoad. Which model of the dual fan targus are you using?
