hard drive failed again...out of dell 1 year warranty but drive covered under seagate 3 year warranty...contacted seagate and told dell will handle problem.
contacted dell and told out of dell warranty....hard luck...this is terrible service....anyone with the same problem.
It's not a problem. OEM parts - those sold with systems or as replacements for such - are covered by the system warranty. They carry no manufacturer warranty to the end user.
When your system warranty ended, so did the hard drive warranty.
