When I try to start the laptop I get a message that there are no bootable devices and I should try reseat the HD. Can anybody help?

Was the problem due to a bad hard drive? Or was it due to bad connectors on the motherboard? Or was it something else?
The issue might be related to the Hard drive, the connectors or with the Motherboard. We will not be able to identify the exact issue without complete troubleshooting. Please let me know the exact nature of the issue that you are facing. This will help us provide a faster resolution.
