  • You must call Dell Support.  Once you prove ownership, they will generate and issue the password to you.

  • no ther is a password for all ,,, its global . but its expensive .

  • No, there is not.  The master password is system-specific.

The cost of a call is about $60 if you're out of warranty, so it's not that expensive.  You must, however, be the registered owner and capable of proving that.

  • You can reset the BIOS password by removing the CMOS battery located on the system board. This can be a chore, depending on the laptop.

Check the web for sites that publish known "back-door" passwords for various BIOS versions

    XPS M1530, Windows 8.1.1 Pro 32-bit
    Inspiron E1705, Windows 8.1.1 Pro 32-bit
    Dimension 9100, Windows 8.1.1 Pro 32 bit
    Inspiron 660, Windows 8.1.1 Home - 64 bit
    Compaq DX 4370G, Windows 8.1.1 Home - 64 bit
    Asus T100 Tablet, Windows 8.1.1 Home - 32 bit

Don't waste your time messing with the CMOS battery. The password is not held in CMOS, it is in eeprom. Removing the battery will do nothing except reset the CMOS. The system will still want the password. Removing the CMOS battery does not work on any recent laptop of most if not all mainstream manfacturers. It is an anti-theft mechanism, if it was that easy there would be no point.

how i remove the bios password  from  e6400

  • See above.  Call Dell, verify ownership.  They'll generated a bypass password for you.

The other option is to replace the mainboard.
