Just ran Dell's PC check up test from the new recently downloaded Support Center website, on my Studio Laptop 1555.
Generally passed but got reports from the HDD section that SMART tests (three in total), could not be run.
Can anyone explain this and how can I rectify the problem?
To run a full hard drive diagnostic you must boot outside of WIndows. F12 at powerup - run the Dell diagnostics from the menu that appears.
