Is it possible to replace a Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT with a Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTX on a Dell XPS M1530 laptop?I am currently running with a Geforce 8600M GT, but the games I like to play require quite a bit more for a graphics card. I am wondering if it is possible to take my 8600M GT out, and replace it with a Geforce 9800M GTX.
If replacing the video card is possible, but a 9800M GTX is not possible, please provide a different video card for me to look at. If you are going to be providing an alternative, please ensure that it has a higher capability than the Geforce 8600M GT. I prefer a card that can run RUSE without much difficulty. Discrete graphics cards are prefered as suggestions.
Also, if soldering gun or other tools are required, please include them in your reply.
Sorry, the video circuity is mounted on the system board; there is no separate video card. The video can not be modified or replaced.

I own a MSI GX700 which has the nVidia GeForce 8600M GT 512MB graphics card installed and it can be removed to be replaced with another. I know this as i have done this already.
