i have a small crack in the outer plastic case on my dell. at this point it does'nt affect performance. should i worry about the crack or not. or should i attempt to superglue the crack. can you buy a new outer shell?
It is almost impossible to permanetly glue the plastic (usually ABS) used in the computer exterior casing. What model is it?
You should be able to find the parts here:
Note that if the crack is around the hinge assembly, it's likely that is worn and should be replaced, or the new plastic part will simply crack in the same spot.
It's a Latitude D610.
