Does DELL still send out DRIVER disc's? Back when i used to work for DELL I know they sent them out, I just recieved mine and did a format/reinstall much to my dismay to find no drivers.. I have downloaded whatl looks like the drivers I should need, but it would be nice to have the OEM driver disc to install properly. Thanks
Dell might have a step-by-step guide for your system in the Support / Reinstall Guides section. You will need to specify your model and operating system. Make sure you understand the process and have everything you need before you start. In addition to the operating system, consider whether hard drive partitioning offers any benefit that you can employ, having operating system security updates available on CD before you reinstall, making sure you have the drivers and utilities you need, plus firewall, anti-virus, and other software you will need to reinstall.
There are guides for which I could offer a link, but they vary depending on which operating system you are installing. I presume XP?
