  • To boot from a CD/DVD  you must turn secure boot OFF and boot in Legacy mode.

  • thanks for your quick reply.

when I do this I get the following screen:

    Legacy Boot:

    UEFI Boot:

    Secure Boot <diabled> (inaccessible)

Load Legacy Option Rom <enabled> (inaccessible)

    Boot Liat Option <Legacy>

and I don't have Add Boot option

Is that the correct way the boot screen looks like to boot from cd/dvd?

    thanks

  • Press the F12 key with a bootable DVD in the drive and you can then boot from the DVD drive.
