I just got my laptop back from getting the hard drive replaced, by Dell, and when I first bought my laptop it came with Microsoft Word, it's no longer on my laptop, what should I do?
Hi,
Welcome to the Community.
I would like to get some information from you regarding your system before proceeding with the troubleshooting.
When you first received the dell system you must have received a MPI card and an activation code (25 digit). If you have got it then you need to install the ms office software from the internet. Please help me with the information.
Once I have the required information I would be able to help you out in a much better way.
Thanks & Regards

.
The installers:
• Microsoft Office 2010 Starter
• Microsoft Office 2010
May be used to reinstall Microsoft Office. For the full version you will need the key which was provided on the Microsoft Product Identification (MPI) card as mentioned above. For more details on this card please see here.
The Starter version doesn't require a product key.

Although I am a Dell Community Rockstar I am not a Dell or Microsoft employee.

I got mine fixed by Dell and my MS Office is still intact. What I did is I bought an activation code online. I didn't know that this could still be fixed on their end. Very unlucky!!
Who wouldn't want a piece of something, eh?
