After window installed some new updates my dell laptop was not able to start. It will boot and go in the screen for Window failed to start. "A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. Launch Startup Repair or Start Window Normally." I tired both options but eventually leads back to this page. Then i tried to enter all the safe mode with no luck. I then tried "Last Know Good Configuration" but with no hope leading back to the same screen. I'm out of ideas and don't know what to do! Please help!
Restart the computer and tap F8 once a second. On the next screen, click on repair my computer.
Select the language, then select the user and log in.
Select system restore and it will give your restore points. Select a restore point before the updates.
What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?

Did you Create a System Repair Disc, See HERE.
No I did not.
I guess you have files and folders you need off the system, correct?
Download Knoppix Live CD or DVD and boot from the Live Knoppix DVD. You can go through and find the files and folders you need and save them to a flash or external hard drive or burn them to a disk.
Then it look like you may have to reinstall the operating system. I'm guessing you may not have created disks or may not have Dell OEM Operating system disks. If you live in the United States, Request Backup Disks USA if you live in another Country, contact Dell Tech Support in your Country.
If you created the disks, Restoring Your Dell Computer to Original Factory Installation with Dell DataSafe Local Backup 2.0
If not, you can try Restoring Your Computer´s Software to the Factory Settings
