I do apologise if this is the wrong place to post this message but I am approaching the stage of pulling out my remaining hair!!
I need some urgent assistance in resolving these problems please.
I spilt gin and tonic on my laptop. It ceased working but is now and then shows a glimmer of life..
I phoned the Dell helpline on Tuesday morning and spoke to someone in Morocco who asked me to pay €149 and a technician would phone me on either May 2nd or 3rd for a diagnostic test.. I paid over the phone for this. On Tue afternoon I received two phone calls from Ireland suggesting dates for collection. I think they thought I was still living in the UK.
No phone call from a technician but this morning, Thursday, a van arrived with a cardboard box addressed to me. The driver said that I had another box for him!! Anyway I said I could not sort anything out now and he is coming back tomorrow for collection. However I have no idea what address to put on the box and I haven't a label. I have searched through the emails from Dell but no joy. The box is obviously for the laptop but where does it go?
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated,. please.

Ideally you just need pack your laptop and hand it over to the person who comes to collect it and they in turn send the system to the repair center.However since there is a confusion with the address,i would request you to private message me your system service tag number and i will verify the details and get back to you.

To find "start conversation" you need to first accept my friend request.You can check and see if you have received a friend request notification.Once you accept my friend request,than click on my user name,you should be able to see a tab which says Start Conversation.
Did you get my msg giving the details you requested? I have now found the Express Svce Code on the Support page on my laptop. No one has yet arrived to collect the machine and I just cannot stay at home all day every day. Can you help on that score please? Kind regards. Ron
