Have problems booting up DELL Inspiron 1525 laptop. There wont be any booting of BIOs but just a dark screen with 3 of the keyboard status lights being so;
Numeric Lock - Solid
Caps Lock - Blinking
Scroll Lock - Solid
Its so with either battery or wall powered.
Any way to restore the laptop to working condition?
Welcome to the Community. It looks like a RAM fault. I suggest you reseat the memory on your system. Use the below link for help.

Hope this helps.
"No can do". Problem and blinking lights still persists.
Could it be the CMOS battery or most feared, motherboard problem?
It happened many months ago and after sometime it just went away and now . . .
You can try one memory at a time in your system to see if that works, to check if its just one memory stick that is faulty. Try another memory stick, if still no go its a motherboard failure.
