Dell inspiron Mini 10 Blue screen error code

Hi

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 laptop and today I have switched it on and got these codes:

STOP: c000021a [Fatal Error]

0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been shut down

Is there any way I can fix this? the problem is that I can't log on past the codes to download anything so its hard to do it from the laptop.

Is there a way to get past the codes.

I would be really gratefull for any help in this, Im baffled. Thank you so much Julie

  • Press F12 at powerup.  Boot to the Dell diagnostics and run the extended test on the hard drive.

  • Thank you so much for your help I have spoken to Dell and it is going to be a hassel I just know it.

    I have run the diagnostics as you said and I am getting this message

     

    SATA Disk S/N=WD-WXE0A89V6767

    Do you have any idea what this means? thank you so much for your help

  • i have a inspiron mini 10. it has this fatal code c000021a i have already tried last good configuration and safe mode and it does not work. can someone please help me?

  • Hold the D key at powerup and boot to the diagnostics.  Run an extended test on the main drive in the system.

    Chances are it has failed.

  • Bug Check 0xC000021A: STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED:

     windows logon failure corrupt or physically bad hard drive.

    This error occurs when a user-mode subsystem, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), has been fatally compromised and security can no longer be guaranteed. In response, the operating system switches to kernel mode. Microsoft Windows cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, this is one of the few cases where the failure of a user-mode service can shut down the system. MS11-054: Vulnerabilities in Windows kernel-mode drivers could allow elevation of privilege (rootkit infection kicks-in again when you reboot) you see the same BSOD upon installing the next Windows Kernel patch
