I have a Dell XPS M1210, I was on ubuntu for a while. Yesterday I formatted everthing and installed WinXP 32bit. I tried downloading the drivers from the dell site. I tried several drivers my wireless adaptor still couldn't find the right one. I tried downloading drivers for my service tag number <ADMIN NOTE:Service tag removed per privacy policy> that dint show up any wireless drives.
Here are the two items that are not recognized in Device Manager
1. Network Controller (I am not sure what kind of wireless card I have)2. Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus
Everything else work except for wireless. It would be great if someone can show me the right driver to use.
Be sure you have installed the chipset driver and the Dell notebook system software. Without these even the correct network driver will not load.
I did install the chipset and dell notebook system software. But I am still not sure what wireless driver to install.
Open the compartment at the bottom of the system - what model wireless card do you have?

Before I posted on the forum I tried installing several wireless drivers without installing the Dell Notebook System Software. Then I installed the Notebook software and tried few drivers again, nothing worked. Please guide me to the right driver.
Go back and reinstall Windows (minimum SP2).
Then install the Dell notebook system software.
Then install the chipset driver.
THEN install the network driver:
