Start by installing the chipset driver. Let me know how that goes.

Dell always sends a driver disc. If you ordered from Dell, you should have gotten one. If you have lost your drivers disc, the downloads section of the main support site provides all of the drivers needed for every model Dell for every supported operating system. So I really think Dell has done everything possible to provide supports for their systems.
I'm sorry to hear you are frustrated but I'm not sure what else I can do to help.

Again, you do not need the disc since EVERY DRIVER is on the support site.

For the network controller
1. Double click on Network controller -> Choose details tab -> Change drop down to hardware ID -> Post the PCI/VEN_XXXXDEV_XXXX details. Shall let you know the driver you need to install.

Please post a picture of the 'device manager' page on your laptop so that I get exact details about the missing/corrupt drivers. You may want to refer to the following steps to access device manager page:
- Click 'Start' icon and type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotations) in 'Search programs and files' text-box- Tap < Enter > to access 'device manager'- Capture the 'screen image' and share it on your post

Thank you for posting the 'device manager' screenshot. However, as I mentioned in my original post, please also share your laptop's 'service tag'. Each Dell computer has a unique code assigned to it that can help us to retrieve the system's specifications. This code is labeled as 'Service Tag' and is a 5 to 7 digit alpha-numeric code. You will find it at the bottom of your Dell laptop. Please refer to the image below: You may send the 'Express Service Code' also. System details can be pulled up with this number as well. Please reply only through a private message with the 'Service Tag' or 'Express Service Code'.
With this information handy, I will be able to pull your laptop records and wireless components installed in it. And will be able to share decisive troubleshooting steps. Since the 'network controller' has a yellow mark in 'device manager', it appears that the laptop is successfully detecting the wireless card and it should not be a hardware failure. It is a matter of getting the correct wireless driver and the issue should get fixed.
