I've got a problem with my Dell Inspiron 350 from 2007. When I put a DVD-RW in the drive, at first it will burn my home made video using NERO 9.0, but when I trie to Rewrite the DVD it keeps telling me that my DVD is not empty. I even tried to formatte it at first and then burn it. When I use the Erase function in Nero it tells me it is not a rewritable DVD but i'm sure it is as it works on my other computer.
Is this a driver problem, can anybody help me out?
Would you please tell me exactly what kind of discs these are? Brand, speed, + or -, etc.
Please post back and let me know if you need more help.
Nashua 16x speed DVD-RW
I checked for this brand and only see a single media code (FTI.....016), but this code corresponds to 16x DVD+R. This is not a rewriteable type media.
In Osprey's Toolbox below, I've got a link to DVD Identifier, which can identify the media code for your discs.
