unsupported video configuration detected

This question has suggested answer(s)

I am trying to install a pci-e turner card in a Optiplex 745 SFF, Windows 7 32bit.  After installing the card and starting up the pc, I get this message:

Attention: unsupported video configuration detected action is required
This computer has an add-in graphics card, but the monitor cable is plugged into the intergrated videoconnector.
To attach the monitor cable to the add-in graphics card:
1 shut down the computer
2 Plug the monitor cable into the add-in graphics card connector this may require a video adapter or video adapter cable (provided with system)
3 turn on the computer
This message should not appear after completing these steps for more information or help, please refer to the system documentation.

Tried safe mode and going to setup, but only got the same message. Took the card out, went to bios and set video to OnBoard from Auto. Put the card back in, same error came up.

  • The tuner's video overlay requires a REAL video card and you do not have one.

The SFF has little to no power for add-on video so this isn't EVER going to work.

Onboard INTEL VIDEO is not compatible with the tuner card.
