Dimension E521 Video Card upgrade

This question is not answered

I have a Dimension E521 that's 4 years old.The video card installed is the GeForce 7300 LE. I don't do gaming but I do graphic editing with Photoshop (current edition) on a Dell 20 inch LCD monitor. My question is, wouldI get any added benefit by upgrading to a better video card, and which one can I use? I have 4 GB RAM but other than this and a 2nd hard drive, everything is the way it was when I bought it.

  • The 7300 LE is a pretty low-end card so almost anything today is better and with the 305 watt power supply, you still have a lot of options.  If you stay with an Nvidia card, a popular one for the older systems has been the 9500 GT shown HERE.  It is a much better performing card and should do better with your photo editing.
