Updating Video card for Dimension 8200

  • I am attemting to upgrade my 64 mb gf card to a bfg 256 oc card, but everytime I attempt to upgrade I get a blank screen. Can anyone help? Below is my current computer info.

  • Uninstall your old graphics card drivers. The manual should probably say how.
  • Giving the models of your video cards would have been useful. Did you get an AGP card? If you bought PCI or PCI-e then you got the wrong card. If you got a midrange card did you connect power to it? If you still can't get your card to work and have to come back with more questions please list useful info like I show in my signature. :smileywink:
