Welcome to the community
You can add more Memory(Ram), this computer has 4 slots, and can go up to 4GB. Also you can add a video card to enhance graphics and resolution. If you are planning to get a video card, you have to consider if your current power supply can give enough power to the device. Please see this link to get the available parts and upgrade for your PC. http://dell.to/KGumgw
Let me know if you need futher assistance. Glad to help

More memory (it should work with generic GSKILL DDR2), and a new video card like the Sapphire 6570 low profile ready would be two upgrades you could do for $100 that would make a noticeable difference.
I have a Vostro 220s, which has similar internals, and it works nicely with both.
