Power Supply Dell Vostro 200 inquiry

This question is not answered

I have read in this thread that the Dell Vostro 200 Mini Tower will accept a standard sized power supply.  I am looking to upgrade my power supply to support my new graphics card (on order, not yet installed). I have read conflicting information on some other sites and the current stock 300W psu does not seem to match the dimensions of a standard sized psu?  I need some clarification here.

Will the following work in my system?

Thanks.  I'm new to gaming and I don't want to get screwed or buy the wrong thing.

P.S.  My new graphics card is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Z5GRW6/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00.

  • 300 watts is sufficient for the 6670 -- there's no need to upgrade unless it's for some other reason, like a noisy fan.

  • I think a 300W power supply is enough.

i had first a nvidia gtx260 1,9GB with the stock 300W dell supply.

now i have changed my gpu in a GTX560 Ti 448 with a new supply (corsair gs500)

and I just made sure to sit with future extensions
