This question is answered

I'm looking for some particular Specs for the Standard configuration L933r Desktops that Dell used to ship out several years ago.  (I could not find this anywhere on dell.com).

I am Not technical at all, so am wondering whether anyone possibly fill in some or all of the specific question marks below, or perhaps point me to a resource where I can locate the info?

    Hello,

    Good to see you also.

  • Hello -

    I've also got a Dimension L933r .. works fine.

However, I'm running out of disk space.  The smallest EIDE drive sold locally is 160 GB.. can the Dell take something that size?

Uh.. just how big is the largest disk this Dell can accept?

    Thanks.

You should be able to install any hard drive up to 120gb without a problem.

To go higher than 137gb, you will need to install a PCI ATA/100 or 133 controller card and attach the HD to that.

The controller card would overcome the limitations of the L933r Series BIOS.
