  • What kind of mouse? Ball or optical? If it has a ball, turn it over and gently turn the ring around the ball (look for the arrows) to open it. Remove the ball and clean out the dust bunnies from inside. There's ususlly 3 rollers inside that get gunked up with dirt. Don't use any liquids to clean inside the mouse.

If this is an optical mouse, try wiping the surface cover over the LED on the mouse's bottom.

And try a different mouse pad too because they're is a common cause for wandering rodents.

    Edit:
I hate it when ravik types faster than I do! ;)
