Hi all
I have a problem i need help with if it's not to much to ask. Recently i installed dual gtx 560 ti gpus & installed nvidia drivers 304. ? as they are the newest but are beta version. I at first used 301.42 version but it was buggy or so i thought. My problem is that now that i have the drivers installed & my gpu's work fine I am unable to use Nvidia system tools for the adjustment of my computers, cpus, memory & gpus fans as, as soon as i boot up & get to my desktop everything locks up causing me to initiate a manual shut down everytime. My system is as follows.
XPS 730 h2c
Nvidia 790i ultra sli mobo
Intel core 2 quad extreme oc'd to 3.7 ghz
8 gig corsair ram
1 tb hd
500 gb hd
creative sb hifi extreme
win 7 ultimate 64 bit
If no solution is there another program out there that will allow me to adjust all my fans ? I would greatly appreciate any help and/or solutions
Weird. How come you have managed to use your Nvidia and installed its software without having the Nvidia control panel available to your desktop? Have you restarted right after you installed its drivers?
Works as always..
I'm sorry I didn't explain myself more clearly. I do have the control panel which loaded with the new drivers. I should have said that when I downloaded & installed the nvidia performance & monitor module for the control panel & set up a profile for my computer fans & cpu cooling is when the desktop started locking up.
It is entirely possible that this older program is no longer compatible with the newer drivers. Nvidia system tools was discontinued years ago.
